IT Technician

This position’s primary duties will include but not be limited to the following tasks and responsibilities:. Helpdesk/Training - Assisting end users with day-to-day issues and enabling them to reach their maximum productivity through observing their workflow, identifying bottlenecks and providing them with tools and knowledge.. Infrastructure - Hardware maintenance and upgrades, optimizing performance and stability out of existing assets while minimizing costs. Software - installation, upgrades, support, evaluation and implementation of new solutions. Data and Information Security - Implement backups and restores, user management, file server management and protection. Responsibilities and Duties Work with current IT manager to learn about current infrastructure, absorb projects and develop into future IT Management role.. . Bachelor’s Degree in Programming, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field preferred but practical knowledge and experience in the field is also sufficient.. Knowledge of Microsoft products imperative. . Experience Experience: Required Employment: Full-time Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 yearly Starting time: Immediate start!
