High Voltage Journeyman Electrician - Licensed

Schedule: M-F 7:00am-4:00pm Pay Rate: Up to $70.08/hr. DOE Location: Santa Clara, CA Position Type: Full-Time Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k). Principal Duties and Responsibilities Provide 24x7 on-call emergency response and support to maintain building systems and infrastructure integrity and availability Monitor and maintain all building and mission critical facilities equipment Perform daily/weekly/monthly walk-throughs supporting data center and office operations Perform preventive maintenance on all building equipment to ensure efficient operation Ensure Chief Engineer and/or Assistant Chief Engineer receive timely verbal and written operating reports about building systems and preventative maintenance Encourage, train, and evaluate Apprentice's technical and behavioral skills; set professional example Requirements At least one (1) year experience supporting mission critical environments Current electrical Journeyman's license Experience with High Voltage Hands‑on electrical or mechanical skill and competence in area of non‑expertise (e.g., electrical expertise with mechanical competence, or vice versa) Ability to operate and perform routine and emergency service on state‑of‑the‑art critical systems Knowledge and experience using basic computer applications Physical Effort/Activities May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
