Job Description

Job Description

Dog Driver and Caregiver — Yo Dog Walker (Burbank, CA)

We're looking for a reliable, dog-loving team member to join our team. This role is built around 3 required days — Wednesday 1-6:30, Thursday 7:30am -1 and Saturday 12:30-6:30 — with additional weekday hours filled in around that.

Why Work Here

Yo Dog Walker has an awesome culture — kind, dog-loving people, lots of laughs, and a genuinely pretty place to work with shade and good tunes playing. We're a low-turnover team, and we're hiring to bring more consistency to our team's schedules. If you're hardworking, diligent, and willing to roll up your sleeves and take on whatever needs doing, you'll fit right in. Good vibes only.

Pay

• Training: $20/hr (1 month ish)
• After training: $22/hr
• Room to grow from there once you know the ropes

Hours & Schedule

• Wednesday 1-6:30pm, Thursday 7:30am -1pm and Saturday 12:30-6:30pm
• Additional weekday hours filled in based on your availability and our needs
• This role is primarily vans + daycare support, with occasional dog walking from our daycare.
• Starting hours will be as described. We can add as time goes.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be the face of Yo Dog Walker for our clients — transporting dogs in our state of the art cargo vans, supervising playtime, and handling day-to-day care with confidence and a calm hand. Safe driving is a big part of the job, including navigating LA traffic and tight parking with dogs loading in and out. You'll also send clients thoughtful, timely photo updates.

Requirements

• Polished, polite presentation with clients — you're representing us
• Confident, attentive dog handling and the ability to read dog body language
• A safe, confident driver: clean driving record with no accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years, valid driver's license, and comfort driving a full-size cargo van in tight city conditions
• Physically able to safely lift a 50 lb dog
• A good phone camera and the instinct to use it — clients love photo updates
• Reliable and punctual
• Dog experience is a plus, but good judgment, professionalism, and safe driving matter most

Apply here and we'll follow up with a few quick questions!
