IAM Operations Analyst / Information Security Analyst II Job Summary The IAM Operations Analyst supports the administration, governance, and operational management of enterprise identity and access management platforms. This role manages user lifecycles, access provisioning, role administration, identity governance, authentication support, and compliance activities. The analyst works with Human Resources, Information Security, Infrastructure, Application Support, and business teams to ensure access is granted, modified, and removed according to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and least-privilege principles. Responsibilities Administer and support identity and access management platforms, including Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, SailPoint, and Okta. Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, access modifications, and application access requests. Support Joiner, Mover, and Leaver lifecycle processes. Handle tickets related to identity, access, authentication, and provisioning issues. Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and identity synchronization issues. Support role-based access control and least-privilege access models. Conduct user access reviews, certification campaigns, audit requests, and compliance activities. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve access and security issues. Assist with system audits, information security risk assessments, and security governance activities. Requirements At least three years of experience in identity and access management, information security, or information technology operations. Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Okta, or equivalent identity management platforms. Experience with user provisioning, deprovisioning, access modifications, and JML processes. Experience troubleshooting authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, and identity synchronization issues. Experience with ticketing and workflow management systems. Experience supporting access reviews, certification campaigns, and audit requests. Knowledge of at least one information security framework, such as HIPAA, HITRUST, ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, NIST, or COBIT. Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Five years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree. Strong understanding of identity governance and access management concepts. Strong communication, analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, project-management, and relationship-building skills. Skill Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID provisioning Okta administration, MFA, and SSOS SailPoint experience Identity and access management operations User access provisioning and application administration Joiner, Mover, and Leaver lifecycle management Role-based access control and least-privilege principles System analysis and testing Information security risk assessment Project management Strong attention to detail and analytical ability Excellent communication and collaboration skills Summary Qualification Minimum of three years of relevant IAM, information security, or IT operations experience.Practical experience managing access, provisioning users, and resolving IAM support tickets. Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, MFA, SSO, and JML processes. Understanding of identity governance, access reviews, compliance, and least-privilege controls. Ability to analyze technical issues, manage competing priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Relevant certifications such as SC-300, SC-900, Okta certifications, SailPoint certifications, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.
