The client is specifically seeking a solid, hands-on Buyer with prior jewelry industry experience who can step in, execute, and support day-to-day buying needs. This role will work closely with senior leadership and merchandising partners and is focused on execution rather than ownership of overall buying strategy./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliExecute purchasing decisions across assigned jewelry categories in alignment with established merchandising direction./liliAnalyze sales performance, inventory levels, and product movement to support replenishment and buying decisions./liliManage relationships with approved vendors, including order placement, follow-ups, and delivery coordination./liliSupport trade show attendance and buying activities as needed./liliAssist with pricing accuracy, product setup, and inventory flow./liliCollaborate with sales leadership to support special orders and client requests./liliPartner with operations and merchandising teams to ensure product availability and alignment with sales needs./liliMaintain organized and accurate buying records and inventory data./li/ulpIdeal Candidate Profile:/pulliPrior experience as a Buyer within the fine jewelry industry./liliHands-on, detail-oriented, and execution-focused./liliComfortable working onsite in a fast-paced retail environment./liliStrong understanding of jewelry product categories, vendors, and buying cycles./liliOrganized, reliable, and able to work collaboratively with leadership and sales teams./li/ulpQualifications:/pulli37+ years of buying experience within fine jewelry or luxury retail./liliExperience attending and buying at industry trade shows strongly preferred./liliStrong analytical skills with comfort reviewing sales and inventory data./liliProficiency with Excel and inventory or merchandising systems./liliBachelors degree preferred or equivalent professional experience./liliU.S. work authorization required.
