Requirements / Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or the equivalent; and 2 years of college (48 units ) or Associates degree (A. A.) or higher; or 2-3 years experience in a school setting working with children Pass a local assessment of reading and math skills. Bilingual a plus and knowledge of SPED policies and processes and experience with special needs students in preferred.

The qualified candidate for this Instructional Aide position will work 1:1 or in a group setting with students. Candidate must have an understanding of students with special needs with a minimum of first aid training prior to beginning of employment. The aide will work in instructional practices curriculum outside activities physical education electives and recess.
