Your Role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer, submitting a DOT inspection report that details the vehicle's condition.
• Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and store keys during off-hour deliveries.
• Safely operate the tractor-trailer to its destination, utilizing your knowledge of commercial driving regulations and your skills in vehicle maneuvering.
• Maintain a driver log (either manually or via Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, recording delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions.
• Unload the trailer and deliver products to customer locations.

Qualifications for a CDL-A Teammate:

• Possession of a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• A minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of experience driving a tractor-trailer
• Must meet our organization's Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and risk rating standards
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
