Job Responsibilities

• Design Tailored Treatment Strategies: Assess patients' specific needs and create individualized therapy plans that align with their personal goals for functional recovery
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-informed methods to enhance patients' mobility, cognitive abilities, and daily activities
• Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate dynamically with OTs, PTs, STs, medical practitioners, and nursing staff to ensure holistic and comprehensive care
• Teach Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families on therapeutic techniques to support continuous improvement at home
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on track toward their goals

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continued learning and advanced certifications are encouraged and financially supported

Certifications

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
