Position Purpose : Assists the Director of Maintenance by performing a variety of duties in and around the facility. Small repairs such as plastering, painting, carpentry, and minor electrical and plumbing repairs may be required.

Educational Requirements : High school graduate or GED required.

Experience Required : General maintenance and repair experience preferred.

Professional Licensure and Certification Required : N/A *Must have valid driver’s license

Essential Functions

• Must operate machinery and equipment, maintain in good repair, and store in an orderly fashion.

• Be able to handle and use simple electrical and plumbing equipment and make minor repairs.

• Be able to carry, push, and pull large equipment in and out of facility.

• Ensure that facility grounds are neat and in order.

• Run errands as needed for supplies—requires driving a motor vehicle.

• Assist with Preventative Maintenance duties as instructed.

• Accurately completes routine tasks without the need of direct supervision.

• Demonstrates the mission, vision, and values of the facility through professional excellence.

• Adheres to the facility dress code.
