• Provide Comprehensive Inpatient Care: Deliver full-spectrum medical management for hospitalized patients as a core member of the hospitalist team.
• Conduct Patient Assessment & Planning: Perform thorough patient evaluations, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and conduct procedures within the NP scope of practice.
• Foster Collaborative Practice: Work seamlessly with attending physicians, specialists, nursing staff, and case management to ensure coordinated, effective care transitions and discharge planning.
• Maintain Clinical Excellence: Ensure all patient encounters, diagnoses, and treatment plans are documented accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR).

Candidate requirements

• Education: Diploma from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (Master's or Doctorate level) required.
• Licensure: Current, unrestricted New York State Nurse Practitioner license and registration.
• Certification: Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is required.
• Experience: Prior experience in Hospital Medicine or an acute care inpatient setting is strongly preferred.
