Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – PreK | 2026-2027 School Year Location: North Chicago, IL Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite School Year: August 17, 2026 – May 26, 2027 Position Details Full-time, onsite position School year: August 17, 2026 – May 26, 2027 Schedule: 8:00 AM – 2:45 PM Serve PreK students Caseload of approximately 35-40 students Consistent weekday schedule with holidays and school breaks off Responsibilities Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide individualized therapy services Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student's communication needs Support students with speech, language, articulation, fluency, and social communication goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, special education staff, and other related service providers Participate in IEP meetings and maintain timely, accurate documentation Foster communication skills that promote academic readiness and social success Qualifications Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required Current Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathology License required Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred but not required Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $60,000-$72,000 annually Full-time school-year schedule Early dismissal each day at 2:45 PM Collaborative and supportive educational environment Opportunity to make a lasting impact through early intervention Predictable work schedule with evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks off Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Continuing education credits Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Socket.dev
