Air Conditioning Service Technician

Job Description

The Air Conditioning Service Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of residential and commercial AC systems. Reporting to a service manager, this position involves frequent travel to various sites, utilizing specialized diagnostic tools and company-provided equipment and vehicles. The technician is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning systems, contributing to customer satisfaction and safety compliance. Responsibilities

Install residential and commercial air conditioning systems
Troubleshoot system issues using specialized diagnostic tools
Perform repair services to restore system functionality
Travel frequently to customer sites for service calls
Maintain safety compliance during all service activities
Utilize company vehicle and equipment effectively
Collaborate with the service manager and team for optimal service delivery

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC service
Technical certificate in HVAC or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

EPA Section 608 Certification
Expertise in HVAC system diagnostics and air conditioning repair
Knowledge of electrical wiring
Strong customer service skills
Proficient in troubleshooting and safety compliance
Physical stamina to perform service duties

English Air Inc. started in business in 2005. Our founder, Anton Martin, moved from London to Palm Bay in 1993 where he completed his HVAC training. He worked for Trane as a service tech for a number of years. After seeing the lack of expertise in the industry (as well as hearing some terrible stories about poor customer service), he saw an opportunity to serve Orlando, FL, and the surrounding areas with polite, professional experts who truly enjoy giving their customers 5-star AC service—every time.
