The Air Conditioning Service Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of residential and commercial AC systems. Reporting to a service manager, this position involves frequent travel to various sites, utilizing specialized diagnostic tools and company-provided equipment and vehicles. The technician is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning systems, contributing to customer satisfaction and safety compliance. Responsibilities
- Install residential and commercial air conditioning systems
- Troubleshoot system issues using specialized diagnostic tools
- Perform repair services to restore system functionality
- Travel frequently to customer sites for service calls
- Maintain safety compliance during all service activities
- Utilize company vehicle and equipment effectively
- Collaborate with the service manager and team for optimal service delivery
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC service
- Technical certificate in HVAC or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- EPA Section 608 Certification
- Expertise in HVAC system diagnostics and air conditioning repair
- Knowledge of electrical wiring
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient in troubleshooting and safety compliance
- Physical stamina to perform service duties
