Senior Dept. Care Manager/CNA Kaplen JCC on the Palisades 411 E. Clinton Ave. Tenafly, NJ 07670 We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades. The CNA will be responsible for delivering high‑quality care to our senior participants, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a caring demeanor, and a passion for working with older adults.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND OPPORTUNITIES

Assist participants with dressing, toileting, and eating. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for participants. Maintain accurate and timely care for all participants. Assisting participants during meals and recognizing which participants need help. Assisting participants with toileting (as needed). Encourage and engage participants in activities and interactions. Communicate with caregivers as needed. Demonstrate safe handling techniques appropriate to the environment and individual. Transport participants safely to and from activities and upon arrival and dismissal. All other job duties as assigned by supervisor. Preventative Health Conduct regular health assessments and screenings. Monitor participant's vital signs and report any changes in their condition to the appropriate staff and family members. Support and Educate: Foster a supportive and nurturing environment for participants. Inform families and managers of changes to participants' needs. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards. Assist Managers with maintaining and updating participant medical forms. Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning and coordination. Maintain a professional working relationship with all associates, vendors, etc.

SALARY RANGE

$40,000 - $60,000 (based on experience and schedule) Minimum Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma Required Licensure/Certification: CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Experience: Minimum of two years working with seniors preferred Skills: Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
