As a team member you will play a major role in supporting the environment and building automation solutions. Your Primary Responsibilities Extensive experience with implementing and managing BI platforms for business intelligence, data applications, and embedded analytics. Experience managing BI platforms including Looker and Amazon Quicksight; designing and delivering complex platform architectures. Extensive experience with Python programming, Shell scripting, and PowerShell scripting; identifying and implementing automation solutions using scripting. Experience with product APIs to automate administrative functions. Extensive knowledge and experience setting up security using Active Directory, Azure AD and PingFederate. Experience configuring OAuth and SAML for SSO implementation; defining SDLC and CI/CD processes using Jenkins. Integrating Looker with a Git repository for code commits. Extensive knowledge and experience with platform governance and resiliency; designing and administering Quicksight and Looker, troubleshooting, and automating day‑to‑day operations. Experience with Looker and Quicksight setup and administration. Architect and develop data models, ETL packages, and reports using Power BI with best‑practice development lifecycle; data modeling experience with the Kimball method. Experience with multiple database tools such as Snowflake, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server. Understanding of external components that BI tools depend on for connectivity, including network, firewall, and proxy; integrating BI with tools such as Splunk, Collibra, and ServiceNow. Understanding of prerequisites for a successful connection setup. Strong ability to quickly propose solutions by recalling the latest best practices from vendor documentation, whitepapers, and community publications. Passion for understanding and integrating business semantics into technology solutions. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic, client‑facing role where delivering solid work products exceeds expectations. Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills. Ability to lead complex projects. Certifications relevant to the role. Work closely with internal IT, server, and security teams to troubleshoot, review logs, and resolve production and non‑production environment issues. Work independently and provide solutions to users. Build CI/CD pipelines to migrate Power BI datasets, dashboards, and reports between workspaces using Power BI REST APIs and Power Platform. Build and support BI platform metrics such as user tracking, usage monitoring, anomaly detection, and enterprise‑level reporting. Train self‑service BI users and support the business in promoting self‑service BI and the overall data platform through communications, collateral, and training materials. Available for on‑call support for production issues and provide leadership and vision for best usage and practices across the BI toolset. Set standards and guidelines for BI development. Mentor other team members to facilitate knowledge transfer. Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of related experience. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience. Talents Needed for Success Experience in a complex environment. In‑depth automation experience with APIs. In‑depth knowledge of CI/CD processes. Experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, and AWS services. Associate level AWS Solutions Architect certification (nice to have). Experience with Terraform. Understanding of network and proxy concepts. The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
