Host
Jack's All Day is a newly opened neighborhood restaurant, and as we continue to grow, we're expanding our team to include a dedicated Host.
We're building a loyal base of regular guests, so we're looking for someone who understands that hospitality starts at the front door. This is not an entry-level position —we're seeking an experienced hospitality professional who is outgoing, personable, and enjoys building genuine relationships with guests.
The ideal candidate will take ownership of the guest experience by recognizing returning guests, maintaining detailed guest notes in OpenTable, and helping us create a warm, personalized experience that keeps people coming back.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of host experience in a hospitality-driven, full-service restaurant
- Full-time availability
- Must be available to work 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM with open availability including weekends and holidays.
- Outgoing, friendly personality with a genuine passion for hospitality
- Able to think on your feet, multitask, and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to keeping accurate guest profiles and notes in OpenTable
- Someone who takes pride in remembering guests and building lasting relationships within the neighborhood
- A team player with a sense of urgency and professionalism
Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests with genuine hospitality
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow using OpenTable
- Maintain and update detailed guest profiles and notes to help recognize and personalize each guest's experience
- Communicate effectively with managers and the dining room team throughout service
- Create an organized, welcoming, and energetic first impression every shift
