Cloud Security Architect / Solution Architect

Location: Sterling, VA (Onsite)

Duration: 6 Months Contract – Possible Extension

Rate: $100/hr on W2

Job Summary

Seeking a senior Cloud Security Architect with 7+ years of experience in cloud security architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP . The role will provide security leadership across cloud architecture, IAM, AI/ML security, network security, automation, and cloud-native technologies.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of Cloud Security Architecture experience .
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP security.
• Experience with cloud security tools such as AWS GuardDuty, Azure Defender for Cloud, and GCP Security Command Center .
• Strong knowledge of IAM, networking, WAF/CDN, VPN, Zero Trust, and secrets management .
• Experience with Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible , Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless security.
• Experience with SIEM/logging platforms such as Splunk or Chronicle.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Node.Js, Go, or Bash .
• Experience with AWS CLI, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience building security automation and integrating security tools into pipelines.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, CIS Benchmarks, and SOC 2 .
• Strong communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience securing AI/ML, LLM APIs, training data, and RAG pipelines .
• Azure, GCP, or AWS cloud certifications.
• CISSP or CompTIA Security+ .
• Experience with Wiz, Splunk, or Brinqa integrations.
