Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Mechanical Design & Project Engineer with 7 10 years of mechanical design experience and a minimum of 4 years of hands-on Autodesk Revit experience . The role requires strong expertise in 3D modeling, 2D drafting, GD&T, tolerance stack-up, DFMA, BOMs, and engineering documentation , combined with the ability to manage engineering projects from concept through delivery . The candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project schedules, risks, changes, and deliverables, and ensure compliance with applicable engineering, quality, and regulatory standards within a medical device environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop medical device components, assemblies, and systems .
• Create and maintain 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using Autodesk Revit .
• Conduct and participate in design, model, and milestone reviews .
• Apply GD&T, tolerance stack-up, DFMA, and material selection principles .
• Develop and maintain BOMs, engineering documentation, and configuration records .
• Manage engineering projects from concept, design, development, and delivery .
• Plan and track project schedules, milestones, resources, deliverables, and dependencies .
• Manage scope, risks, issues, change requests, and project priorities .
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and customers .
• Lead technical discussions, project reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Provide project status, performance, budget, and schedule reporting .
• Support effort estimation, resource planning, and budget tracking .
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, safety, regulatory, and customer requirements .
• Support PLM/PDM, configuration management, and engineering change processes .
• Mentor engineering team members and drive continuous improvement .

Skills Required

Technical Skills

• 7 10 years of mechanical design engineering experience.
• 4+ years Autodesk Revit mandatory .
• Advanced 3D modeling and 2D drafting .
• Strong GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation .
• Tolerance stack-up analysis .
• DFMA and material selection .
• BOM creation and engineering documentation .
• PLM/PDM and configuration management .
• Knowledge of ASME, ISO, and ANSI standards .
• Experience with engineering change management .

Project Management Skills

• Engineering project management from concept through delivery .
• Project planning, scheduling, resource management, and risk management .
• Scope, change, issue, and milestone management .
• Project estimation, budget tracking, and performance reporting .
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, or equivalent .
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies .
• Strong customer, supplier, and stakeholder management .

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent certification preferred .
