Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to join a mission-driven organization making a difference around the world?
We're partnering with a respected nonprofit organization seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations and manage the full accounts payable process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, values accuracy, and wants to contribute to a meaningful mission.
What You'll Do:
- Process accounts payable transactions with a high degree of accuracy
- Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and domestic/international wire transfers
- Maintain vendor records and verify banking information
- Coordinate payment schedules and resolve vendor inquiries
- Support accounting operations and assist with additional accounting activities as needed
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Experience processing checks, ACH transactions, and wire transfers
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
