About the Role

Location: Remote

As employee number one in our HVAC vertical, you will build this vertical from scratch: secure strategic partnerships for contractor access, drive onboarding and activation, and scale a team. Start as an individual contributor, transitioning to "player-coach" within 12-18 months as relationships mature

Key Responsibilities

• Source, sell to, and onboard initial commercial HVAC contractors; design and lead a team for scalable recruitment and activation.
• Develop high-impact partnerships with HVAC manufacturers, distributors, buying groups and associations to generate contractor and loan pipelines and joint GTM strategie
• Build a team and the necessary team infrastructure including training, playbooks, key metrics to boos loan volume
• Advise product, underwriting and operations teams on refinements based on partner and contractor feedback

Qualifications

1. 6+ years in HVAC revenue roles (sales, business development, etc). Some experience selling or using financial products strongly preferred
2. Proven track record in strategic partnerships and channel management (OEMs, Distributors, Contractors)
3. Experience launching or scaling new products or verticals; strong acumen in SMB lending and equipment finance
4. Data-operator with executive presence and credibility with senior leadership
5. Builder mentality: demanding, collaborative, adaptable, mission-aligned
