Position: Sr. ServiceNow Technical Developer AI & Automation

Location: Remote

Job Type: 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

• Design, develop, configure, and enhance solutions on the ServiceNow platform across modules such as ITOM, HRSD, CSM, ITAM, and SAM.
• Develop technical solutions using ServiceNow scripting, platform configuration, workflow automation, integrations, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of ServiceNow AI Agent products, including Technical Design Agents, Configuration Agents, and AI Testing and Quality Agents.
• Support AI-enabled delivery, configuration, testing, and quality assurance in a collaborative, pilot-driven environment.

• Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, GlideScript, Glide APIs, and platform development best practices.
• Establish and maintain CMDB foundations, including data population, data modeling, and configuration management.
• Design, develop, and maintain business rules, custom workflows, Flow Designer solutions, and process automation.
• Develop and enhance Now Assist capabilities, generative AI solutions, and agentic AI workflows.
• Contribute to the design, configuration, and development of ServiceNow AI Agents, including:
  • Technical Design Agents
  • Configuration (Config) Agents
  • AI Testing and Quality-focused Agents
• Refine AI agent logic, prompts, and behaviors to improve accuracy, reliability, and usability.
• Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, Integration Hub, and Orchestration.
• Develop secure and scalable integrations with external enterprise systems, including CRM and ERP platforms.
• Perform technical design reviews, peer reviews, smoke testing, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
• Execute test cases, support defect triage, and ensure the quality and stability of developed solutions.
• Analyze business processes and translate requirements into technical designs and platform configurations.
• Follow established PACE playbooks and delivery practices independently.
• Maintain clear technical documentation, written updates, and project status reports.
• Proactively identify and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies to the Project Manager.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across EMEA, APAC, and AMS regions.
• Adhere to ServiceNow coding standards, platform best practices, ITIL processes, and security guidelines.
• Work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Hands-on ServiceNow development, configuration, customization, and implementation experience.
• Experience with one or more ServiceNow modules, with implementation exposure to ITOM, HRSD, CSM, ITAM, and SAM.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow scripting.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Jelly, and AngularJS.
• Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Orchestration.
• Understanding of CMDB architecture, data modeling, and configuration management.
• Experience developing REST/SOAP integrations, working with MID Server, and connecting external systems.
• Exposure to Now Assist, Generative AI, AI Agent development, or agentic AI workflow design.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled testing, quality assurance, peer reviews, smoke testing, and defect management.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, ServiceNow security guidelines, and development best practices.

• 3 6 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Practical implementation experience across relevant ServiceNow modules, including ITOM, HRSD, CSM, ITAM, and SAM.
• Mandatory: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• Preferred: Certified Implementation Specialist IT Asset Management (CIS-ITAM).
• Good to have: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Excellent communication, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver in a fast-paced Agile environment.
