Qualifications and Experience:
- Current or eligible SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience in pediatric or school-based speech-language pathology
- Strong knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques for school-aged children
- Proficiency in IEP development and implementation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills
- Relevant licensure or certification as required by state authorities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Design and execute individualized treatment plans within IEP frameworks
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy sessions to address articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom integration
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting
- Engage with families to share strategies and progress updates
- Support a positive school culture by advocating for students’ communicative needs
