Job Title

Labor and Delivery (L&D) - Registered Nurse - Travel

Location

Orlando, FL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring (EFM); candidates must pass a proctored EFM course prior to starting — candidates who do not pass are ineligible to retest for 6 months
• Float within Women's Services as needed
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support safe labor, delivery, and postpartum outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Florida (or compact license eligibility)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) protocols and interpretation
• Experience floating within Women's Services departments
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into a new clinical environment
