Position Overview:
Indoor Lifeguards are responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming aquatic environment. This role focuses on active surveillance, rule enforcement, and prompt emergency response while providing excellent customer service to patrons.
- Maintain active surveillance of the pool and surrounding areas
- Enforce all pool rules, safety standards, and facility policies
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and rescues
- Provide first aid, CPR, and emergency care as needed
- Complete incident and rescue reports accurately and promptly
- Communicate professionally with patrons and address concerns
- Assist with opening/closing duties and daily pool operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (required)
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (required)
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to remain alert for extended periods
