If you are a motivated professional looking for a long-term fit where you can grow in a role, and will be valued and empowered, then we invite you to apply to our Legal Administrative Assistant position in our Orlando office.The PositionWilson Elser's Orlando office is currently seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to work with a leading Medical Malpractice defense team.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare legal filings: format documents, pull exhibits, proofread and redact documentsPrepare court filings, become familiar with court rules and filing proceduresE-file court filingsOpen new mattersDocument management and organization, saving to network, indexing for file roomRetrieve court decisions from WestlawPrepare cover letters for attorney billsInput billing information into billing softwareSchedule conferences and depositions, maintain attorney calendarsManage bills for third party vendors, process check requests and follow up with accountingQualifications3+ years Litigation experienceMust have prior experience with litigation procedures and processes, e-filing, and creating table of authoritiesFamiliarity with Florida State and Federal court procedures and rulesAbility to work in a team-based setting with other Legal Secretaries supporting a group of attorneysOpen to taking on new responsibilities and challenging tasksExcellent organizational skills with the ability to integrate into a fast-paced environmentExcellent typing skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office 2007 (Word, Outlook, Excel)Strong written and verbal communication skillsWhy Should You Apply?Benefits: Outstanding benefits package, including 401k match and generous PTO planCareer Growth: Ample opportunities for professional development and advancementEmployee Perks: Access to corporate discount plans and other benefits
