ResponsibilitiesGrade student classwork and homework accurately and efficientlyPrepare worksheets and classroom materialsSupport students while encouraging independent learning using the Kumon MethodHelp students develop positive study habits, focus, and confidenceAssist early learners with worksheets and classroom routinesWelcome students and families with friendly, professional customer serviceAssist with homework exchange, attendance, and basic front desk dutiesHelp maintain an organized, clean, and safe learning environmentUse Kumon Connect, iPads, and other technology as part of daily center operationsProtect student confidentiality at all timesPerform additional classroom and administrative tasks as assignedQualificationsWe're looking for someone who:Enjoys working with childrenHas strong Math and/or Reading skills (high school level)Is dependable, punctual, and maintains consistent attendanceHas excellent communication and interpersonal skillsWorks well independently and as part of a teamIs willing to learn, accept feedback, and growIs organized, adaptable, and takes initiativeIs comfortable using technology, including Kumon Connect and iPad systemsIs available to work afternoon and evening class hoursFormer/current Kumon students and educators are strongly preferred.What You'll GainExperience working with children in an educational settingTraining in the Kumon MethodLeadership and communication skillsA supportive team environmentOpportunities for growth within the centerThe opportunity to make a lasting difference in students' livesSchedulePart-time afternoon and evening hours.
