Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Provide intrapartum care for labor and birth
• Perform intraoperative and recovery care for operative deliveries
• Offer postpartum care and maternal/newborn care as a couplet dyad
• Care for premature and newborns requiring a higher level of care

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Active RN license
• BLS-AHA, NRP certifications required
• 3-5+ years experience preferred
• Comfortability in the OR preferred
• EPIC systems experience required
• Flu vaccine required during onboarding
• Must be separated from BILH for 6+ months if previously employed
