Job Summary: Washington, District of Columbia Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery Department. The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe, competent nursing care for postpartum/mother baby patients, supporting patient-centered care and demonstrating service excellence. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 3 x 12s; 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state/district; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN (highly desired); Verified Cerner experience; Minimum 2 years of experience (postpartum/mother baby experience required).
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN.
• Additional Information: Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team; performs a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with current licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements; supports patients including vaginal delivery, C-section, and GYN surgery; fulfills needs of patients, families, and community.
