Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be acquired within one year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification during employment is mandatory.
