Production Control Room Operator

Control Room OperatorKalmbach's objective for our Control Room Operator is a person who can work hard to learn our automated systems in a way to keep our team members safe, own quality of our superior feeds, and to work hard with other team members to delight our customers.Duties:Operate our automated pelleting system in a way that prioritizes safety and qualityTo work directly with Kalmbach's pelleting system to ensure consistent superior feeds are delivered to our customersTo become subject experts on the pelleting system with detailed knowledge in process flow and preform preventative greasing and adjustments to help keep our systems running efficientlyTo work directly with team members across the company and departments to ensure that all policies and protocols are supported in our operationsDocument daily operations in a manor to support Kalmbach's document proceduresStrive to keep correct and accurate inventories of ingredients, parts, and orders.Work along side other team members to complete needed tasks to keep our facilities clean and in the best operational order.Job Requirements:Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.Evidence of analytical reasoning and mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide.Preferred knowledge:Agriculture (livestock/grain feed) industry experience preferred.Knowledge of FSMA's Qualified Individual requirement and General Food Safety Plans is preferred.Benefits:Outstanding compensation planHealth Insurance planAccrued paid time offPaid uniformsShort Term DisabilityLong Term DisabilityDental InsuranceGenerous 401kCompany condo in FloridaPre-employment drug screen (hair and urine), physical, and criminal background check required.
