Materials Handler

Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Operate production equipment as outlined in SOP's and batch cards.Perform all job functions in accordance with all established safety rules and policies.Perform any additional duties assigned by Production Supervisor of Leadman.Keep all partial bags of material sealed.Replace missing labels on raw materials.Raw materials are placed in the correct location.Housekeeping, sweeping and moping the racks daily and keeping the oil house organized.Follow First In First Out (FIFO) procedures when sending up raw materials.Follow all shelf-life procedures.Properly empty drums and dispose of them properlyComplete DOT Hazardous Material TrainingSend up raw materials to blender loaders and compoundersPull and prepare raw material distribution orders (DO) for shipment to other Teknor plants.Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:High School or G.E.D.Physical Requirements:Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standardsMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Teknor Apex is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any protected status under state or federal laws.
