Quarry Loader Operator

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You’ll Be Doing*** Operate loader equipment safely and efficiently to move and load materials* Inspect, maintain, and report equipment conditions to ensure reliable operation* Support production goals by supplying material to crushers, conveyors, and stockpiles* Follow all site safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment* Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily activities**What Are We Looking For*** Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and confidently* Strong awareness of safety practices and commitment to following procedures* Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‐paced environment* Skill in identifying equipment issues and reporting them promptly* Reliability, attention to detail, and readiness to learn site processes**Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check* Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing**Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level**What We Offer*** $26.87 per hour* Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension* Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidaysEqual Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr
