Overview Maintenance Operator Wed-Sat 7pm-5:30am at ID Logistics US. Job Description The Maintenance Mechanic position requires a skilled maintenance mechanic to inspect and repair material handling equipment and perform minor building repairs. Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. Responsibilities Performs equipment setup, operation, tests, calibrations, adjustments, and minor preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment. Maintains production machines and equipment, cleans equipment, and ensures the work floor is clean, safe, and well maintained. Assembles and tests all components to ensure equipment is safe and in working order before it is put into production. Requirements Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines. Sound understanding of using electrical testing and repair of material handling equipment and ability to use electrical testing tools. Ability to use various power and hand tools efficiently. Ability to operate a forklift. Should follow oral or written instructions and establish and maintain effective working relationships. High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods. Shift & Compensation Shift: Sun-Wed 7pm-5:30am. Salary range $25-28 per hour plus $2.00 shift differential.
