Radiology Supervisor (Off Shift)

Work Shift Evening Shift Time Type Full time Department CC014210 Radiology - Little Rock Summary Monday-Friday evenings, variable schedule - prior Lead experience strongly preferred - 4 years radiology experience, Associate's degree, ARRT & RTL required. Additional Information Supervises daily operations of Diagnostic Radiology and the File/Scan Room. Takes radiographs and performs routine fluoroscopic exams. Serves as point of contact for staff, physicians and management. Required Education Associate Degree. Required Work Experience Related Field - 4 years of experience. Required Certifications American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification (ARRT); Radiologic Technologist License (RTL) - Arkansas Department of Health. Responsibilities Oversees routine equipment maintenance, quality assurance tests, and reports unscheduled downtime to manager. Utilizes technical expertise to aid in planning process for capital equipment and minor equipment acquisitions and supplies. Assists in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and evaluating staff. Oversees quality control activities and performance improvement projects in work area. Ensures correct patient, diagnosis and exam and demonstrates proper positioning and use of radiographic equipment. Addresses image quality issues. Manages day‑to‑day patient flow and delegates work to technologists and/or imaging assistants. Demonstrates proper patient screening, adequately explains exam/procedures, and encourages at least one family member to be present during exams. Performs other related duties as assigned.
