Respiratory Therapist - RRT
MLR is seeking an outstanding candidate to play a vital role in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions. You will collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide personalized and effective care, utilizing advanced technology and evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments of patients' respiratory needs, develop care plans, and make recommendations to the healthcare team.
- Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, bronchodilator therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor patient responses to treatments, make adjustments as necessary, and report any adverse reactions or changes in condition.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care, treatment options, and disease management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Participate in emergency response and code blue teams as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
- NJ State Licensure
- ACLS and BLS certification preferred
