Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an impactful contract assignment providing speech-language services to students in the Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge areas of Prince William County. Beginning August 17th, 2026, and continuing through June 12th, 2027, this full-time role offers the opportunity to support children’s communication development at the heart of a vibrant school community.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Current Virginia SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Previous experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy
• Ability to provide onsite therapy and assessments (remote/virtual SLPs will not be considered)
• Effective collaboration skills and adaptability working alongside school staff and families
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy services for students with diverse needs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to the development of IEPs
• Maintain accurate records, progress documentation, and compliance with all relevant requirements
• Communicate regularly with educators, parents, and other related service professionals
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
