Mailroom / Production Support Clerk

**THIS POSITION IS INCUMBENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**

Longeviti is seeking two, Secret-cleared Mailroom / Production Support Clerks with at least two years of experience to support the U.S. Army at Fort Hood, TX (now Fort Cavazos).

DESCRIPTION:

The Mailroom / Production Support Clerk provides operational support for official mail handling, document processing, and reproduction services in support of mission and command requirements at Fort Hood, Texas. This position is responsible for the receipt, processing, accountability, distribution, and reproduction of official correspondence and materials while ensuring compliance with applicable Department of Defense (DoD), Army, and installation regulations. The successful candidate will maintain document accountability and support administrative and production-related requirements using established systems and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive, sort, process, track, and distribute official incoming and outgoing mail in accordance with applicable regulations, command policies, and operational requirements.
• Maintain accountability and chain-of-custody for official mail, correspondence, and sensitive documents.
• Perform document reproduction, duplication, scanning, printing, and finishing services using large-scale reproduction equipment to support mission and organizational requirements.
• Operate and maintain large-scale reproduction machines and associated equipment to ensure timely and accurate document production.
• Utilize computer systems and software applications, including Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office Suite, to prepare, edit, organize, track, and reproduce official documents and correspondence.
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping and documentation related to mail processing, distribution, and production support activities.
• Independently prioritize workloads and complete assignments with minimal supervision while meeting established timelines and service requirements.
• Support administrative and production to ensure continuity of mailroom and document management operations.
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Department of Defense (DoD), Army, ATEC, OEC, and Fort Hood environmental laws, regulations, policies, and procedures during contract performance.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, COMPETENCIES:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working independently in a mailroom environment.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating computer systems and office productivity software, including Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience operating large-scale reproduction or production printing equipment.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities in a mission-driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to maintain accountability of official mail and documentation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
