Gastroenterology Locum Opportunity in Ohio
ProLocums
We are seeking a Gastroenterologist to provide vital holiday block coverage in Ohio. This assignment captures the major winter holidays, combining structured daytime procedural hours on standard workdays with high-yield, 24-hour emergency call coverage during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
?? Clinical Schedule & Holiday Breakdown
- Standard Weekday Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:15 PM (First day orientation begins at 7:00 AM).
- Standard Weeknight Call: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
- Weekend Call Profile: Minimal volume expected.
- Outpatient Clinic Status: The office is completely closed with zero outpatient elective scopes scheduled on Thanksgiving Day (November 26).
- Thanksgiving Block: November 26 & November 27
- Christmas Block: December 24, December 25, & December 26
- General GI consults and cases
- EGD (including EGD with banding)
- Foreign body removal & dilations
- Colonoscopies
