Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of tender documentation, contracts, budgets, and counterproposals.
• Assist with administration of project contracts, ensuring compliance and supporting management of disputes, changes, or applications for payment.
• Work closely with cost control disciplines to review and prepare thorough cost estimates, including materials, labour, and equipment.
• Monitor contract expenditures and ensure cost control procedures are complied with.
• Support review of invoices, including checking substantiation and supporting documentation such as progress claimed, timesheets, third party invoices, and completion certificates.
• Assist in preparation of detailed cost reports, including progress reports, cost forecasts, and final accounts.
• Provide input into tracking and reporting on contract cash flows and financial status.
• Identify potential financial or contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Undertake regular work front visits to review progress claimed, conduct remeasurements, ensure adherence to contract terms, and validate costs.
• Collaborate with contract managers, project managers, construction managers, engineers, cost controllers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with a focus on large scale EPCM projects.
• Proven experience working on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods of measurement, cost estimation, financial management, and contract law.
• Proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and extract data from DWG files and other technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience working in Sweden and familiarity with the AMA system (Allmän Material- och Arbetsbeskrivning/General Material and Work Descriptions).
