What does a Manufacturing Engineer Intern do at Swire Coca-Cola? Manufacturing Engineer Interns with identifying and driving out losses through the development of standards and systems. They support the daily activities of the production line(s) and/or processing areas. They build long-term capability into the manufacturing process, systems, and technicians. Job Details: This position is for a summer Internship from May - August 2027 in Tempe, AZ. Responsibilities: Identify, prioritize, analyze, and eliminate losses and inefficiencies Collaborate with the Line Structure Teams to carry forward and execute improvements Assist in analyzing line performance including run rates, scrap rates, unplanned and planned down times, and any other operational losses including Safety and Quality opportunities Identify 1-3 actions to reduce these losses and create a project charter and scope for each action Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial) or equivalent related program Graduation date of Aug 2027 or later Available to work full-time for the duration of the summer (May - August 2027) Must not require sponsorship to legally work in the U.S. (i.e., H-1B, TN, OPT, CPT, O-1, E-3, or any other work visas), now or in the future Due to the nature of our work and to help maintain a safe workplace for our employees and customers, after a candidate receives a conditional offer of employment, they will be required to complete pre-employment screening.
