What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process and best practices within the scope of practice standards.
- Assess patient needs, implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes to promote health and recovery.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and delegate tasks appropriately.
- Educate patients and families, addressing diverse cultural and personal needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with team members.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including privacy and safety standards.
- Demonstrate professional responsibility and uphold the facility's clinical and ethical standards.
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency with healthcare technology and documentation tools
- Strong communication, organizational, and judgment skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
