Surgical Coordinator Assistant

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

What you'll do: Serves as designated person to assist with coordinating medical clearances for surgical procedures and all that it encompasses - utilizing skills of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality in a professional manner.
Review upcoming surgical schedule and list what patients need medical clearances.
Follow up to confirm that medical clearances are coordinated in a timely manner:


High School diploma or equivalent required.
One-year medical office experience. Previous surgical scheduling experience preferred. xywuqvp
Familiarity with HIPAA, insurance regulations, policies, procedures and other regulatory policies
Medical office procedures, policies, practices and medical terminology, telephone protocol and professional etiquette
Electronic medical systems is a plus
