Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: August 31, 2026
End Date: November 28, 2026
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week
Shift: Days | 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Department: Pre-Op
Weekend & Holiday: Required
Location: Phoenix, AZ

Travel Requirement: Must live 50+ miles from the assignment location. Local candidates are not accepted.

This is an opportunity for an experienced RN to support a busy Pre-Op/Perianesthesia team in a fast-paced hospital environment. Recent ICU patient experience is required , making this a strong fit for nurses with a critical-care background looking to expand their perioperative experience.

What You’ll Do

• Provide safe, comprehensive care to patients preparing for surgical procedures

• Perform preoperative assessments and identify potential patient risks

• Monitor patients and communicate changes in condition promptly

• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical, and multidisciplinary teams

• Ensure patients are clinically prepared for procedures

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow patient-safety standards

What We’re Looking For

• Active RN license

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

• Recent ICU patient experience required

• Pre-Op/PACU or perianesthesia experience preferred

• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills

• Ability to work required weekends and holidays
