Experienced Tax PreparerDMLO is seeking an Experienced Tax Preparer to join our Louisville, KY office for the upcoming tax season (January – April 2027). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing individual and business tax returns, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This position is seasonal and can be part-time or full-time.As an Experienced Tax Preparer, your responsibilities will include:Preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and/or small businessesAnalyzing financial documents and tax-related information to ensure accurate tax reportingUtilizing tax preparation software to complete returns efficiently and accuratelyMaintaining organized client files and documentationMeeting tax filing deadlines while managing a high-volume workloadCollaborating with team members and provide support during peak filing periodsWhat do we look for?2+ years tax preparation experience in a public accounting firm, tax practice, or similar environmentBachelor's degree in Accounting, preferredCPA license preferred, but not requiredWell-rounded knowledge of accounting principlesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsIntegrity and strong work ethicTimely and accurate with close attention to detailAbility to balance multiple priorities wellTeam focusPositive attitudeWith 60+ CPAs and over 150 employees, DMLO CPAs is the largest locally-owned accounting firm in the Louisville area.
