Requirements

• At least 2 years of procedural experience
• BLS and ACLS
• Epic experience
• Cath lab and endovascular experience
• Moderate sedation monitoring and drip titration
• TAMBE and PMEG experience required; candidates without either will be declined
• Highlight TAMBE and PMEG experience on the cover page, including the facilities where performed
• ICU background listed as required in the detailed skill requirements, but preferred elsewhere; confirm with manager
• First-time travelers considered following skills and manager review

Unit and patient care

• Setting: One-room hybrid Cath Lab/OR; approximately 1–2 adult cases daily
• Procedures: Open and endovascular cases, including TAMBE, PMEG, TCAR, TEVAR, TAVR, TMVR, angiograms, and femoral bypass
• Responsibilities: Procedural care only; no patient preparation or recovery
• Floating: Assist with peripheral and structural procedures in the Cath Lab
• Support: Cath Lab charge nurse available
• Equipment: Alaris, Omnicell, Siemens and Philips imaging/hemodynamic systems

Schedule and orientation

• Orientation: Facility orientation plus four 10-hour precepted shifts during the first week
• Weekends: Likely every other or every third weekend; flexibility required
• Call: Supports 24-hour coverage; likely every other to every third night, approximately 1–2 times weekly
• Holidays: Likely every other holiday
• Time off: Manager approval required
• Schedule: Released every 4 weeks
