Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN ICU experience License: MA License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Certification Must-Have: Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred) Effective verbal and written communication skills Physical ability to meet job responsibilities Basic computer proficiency Telemetry experience required Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips Tele test on day 1

Description: As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our multi-specialty Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Supported by a collaborative and dedicated nursing team, you will provide the highest quality care to your patients. You will ensure that patients receive the attention and expertise they deserve. Your responsibilities will include delivering nursing care in the ICU unit. This includes assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients. You will communicate with various healthcare team members, patients, and their families. You will coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues. Updating and managing patient records will be part of your responsibilities. You will enter and interpret computerized data and information. You will follow guidelines and policies established by our nursing department. You will assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects.
