Recommended Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Proactive self-starter who demonstrates a high level of productivity.
- 8+ years application development experience implementing Java/JEE solutions
- Experience with one or more is required:
- Eclipse
- Spring/SpringBoot
- Rational Application Developer
- WebSphere Application Server
- Tomcat
- Docker
- Experience in designing and implementing REST services and API's.
- Experience working with Web services and MQ/JMS-based services is required.
- Knowledge of Microservices, SOA, and modernization of legacy systems.
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of relational database technologies and usage within Java applications.
- Insurance industry experience is a plus.
