Position: Certified Leader
Reports to: General Manager Pay: $20/hr + tips
Location: 2512 East Portland Road, Newberg, OR 97132
Description
Aloha! Ready to lead a team with the heart of aloha? As a Certified Leader at Hawaiian Bros, you will be the captain of the ship during your shift, guiding your crew to success while serving up fresh and flavorful island-inspired dishes. You'll keep the team energized, the customers happy, and the kitchen running smoothlyall while embodying the spirit of aloha.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead with Aloha: Provide warm, friendly, and upbeat leadership to your crew, ensuring everyone is having fun while delivering top-notch service.
- Customer Service Superstar: Be the face of Hawaiian Bros, greeting guests with a smile, handling any concerns, and ensuring every customer leaves feeling like they've experienced paradise.
- Team Player: Supervise and motivate crew members, ensuring they understand tasks, stay on track, and maintain our high standards of service.
- Operations Maestro: Oversee daily operationskeep things flowing, ensure food quality, manage the team's pace, and troubleshoot any issues that arise (with a positive attitude, of course!).
- Train & Inspire: Help onboard new team members, guiding them with aloha to ensure they become experts in delivering a smooth, fun, and friendly experience.
- Shift Management: Handle opening and closing duties, including cash management, inventory control, and ensuring the restaurant is left in pristine condition.
- Maintain Safety & Cleanliness: Ensure health and safety standards are followed and that cleanliness is maintained, making sure the restaurant stays as beautiful and inviting as the Hawaiian Islands.
- Celebrate Success: Lead by example, always keeping morale high, celebrating the wins (big and small), and supporting team members in their personal growth.
Qualifications:
A friendly, positive attitude with a passion for delivering excellent service. Prior leadership or team experience (in a fast-paced environment is a bonus). Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems quickly. Strong communication and motivational skills. Must have flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Passion for Hawaiian culture and a love of the island vibe!
