Automotive Service Advisor - Lewisville

We are a top nationally ranked dealer alternative automotive repair company with 10 locations in the Dallas‑Fort Worth area. Key Responsibilities Deliver a welcoming and professional customer experience by actively listening and accurately identifying vehicle concerns. Create detailed and accurate repair orders using effective service writing techniques. Clearly communicate recommended services, repairs, and maintenance options, including cost estimates and timelines. Confidently recommend additional services based on vehicle condition while maintaining honesty and transparency. Collaborate closely with technicians to prioritize workflow, monitor repair progress, and ensure timely completion. Oversee a wide range of services, including oil changes, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, transmission work, suspension, alignments, tires, diesel systems, and more. Maintain accurate service records, including customer history and repair documentation. Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Proactively follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long‑term loyalty. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2 years as an Automotive Service Advisor (required). Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, repair processes, and service operations. Broad mechanical knowledge, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, diesel engines, shocks & struts, and brakes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, customer‑friendly manner. Proven ability to upsell services ethically while prioritizing customer needs. Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high‑volume environment. Solid customer service skills with a focus on relationship building and retention.
