Picker And PackerThis role focuses on accurately picking, packing, and preparing eyewear products for shipment while maintaining high quality standards and a clean, organized warehouse environment. You support order fulfillment, inventory control, and returns processing to ensure customers receive the correct merchandise in excellent condition.Shift: 1st shiftPay: $18/hourResponsibilitiesSafely handle eyeglass frames, including cleaning and preparing them to meet established quality standards.Pick merchandise according to order requirements and company procedures, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Box, wrap, and pack products securely so they arrive in excellent condition.Assist with inventory management by maintaining accurate stock levels and organizing items in the warehouse.Tag and label frames properly, create labels, and ensure all merchandise is clearly marked and easy to identify.Process returns efficiently, accurately logging items and returning them to stock when appropriate.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety protocols and keeping the workspace free of hazards.Follow established production and packaging procedures to meet productivity and quality expectations.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support smooth warehouse operations throughout the 8:00 a.m.4:30 p.m. shift.Essential SkillsExperience with packing, production, or packaging in a warehouse or similar environment.Ability to follow detailed instructions and company procedures for picking, packing, and labeling merchandise.Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment and proper tagging and labeling of frames.Capability to maintain organized inventory and work areas in a fast-paced environment.Physical ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.Ability to perform tasks that may require sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.Visual acuity including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.High school diploma.Approximately 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in eyewear, retail distribution, or manufacturing environments is a plus.Comfort using basic warehouse tools and equipment for packing and labeling.Reliability in maintaining attendance and working a full 8:00 a.m.4:30 p.m. shift.Willingness to learn and follow established safety and quality standards.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet daily goals.Why Work Here?You join a company with a strong presence in the eyewear industry, offering a diverse portfolio of independent brands and operating one of the largest eyewear manufacturing facilities in the country. You regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds and rely on specific vision abilities, including close and distance vision, color recognition, depth perception, and focus adjustment, to handle and inspect frames accurately.
