Level I Fire Alarm Installer Dallas/DFW

Our client is an established Texas life safety contractor with decades of industry experience, multiple offices across the state, and a strong pipeline of commercial projects. Their team provides fire alarm solutions for commercial buildings, schools, hospitality, and medical facilities .

You ll work alongside experienced technicians while gaining hands-on experience with systems that matter.

What You ll Do

• Pull fire alarm cable through J-hooks, bridle rings, and conduit
• Install and terminate basic fire alarm devices, including horns/strobes, pull stations, and smoke detectors
• Install support structures, outlet boxes, junction boxes, cable, and conduit
• Follow blueprints and installation drawings to complete assigned work
• Assist Lead, Level II, and Level III technicians with installation, testing, and troubleshooting
• Use basic test equipment, including a volt-ohm meter
• Maintain quality workmanship and follow jobsite safety requirements
• Learn fire alarm system fundamentals, wiring requirements, and applicable NFPA standards

What We re Looking For

• Previous low-voltage or fire alarm installation experience is preferred
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
• Familiarity with pulling cable and installing low-voltage devices
• Ability to work safely in commercial construction environments
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• A desire to build a long-term career in life safety
